Bug in mpich configure?

You could try the latest rc - but I think Barry had other issues with it.

--download-mpich=http://www.mpich.org/static/downloads/3.1rc2/mpich-3.1rc2.tar.gz

[if it still looks for /opt/local/lib/liblzma.la - its a bug report to mpich folks]
