[petsc-dev] configure.log should keep record of environmental variables

    Could you please add to Configure.py the use of printenv or a python equivalent to save into configure.log at startup of ./configure ? 

    This would make debugging issues related to environmental variables causing grief easier.

Come to think of it, save a full copy of the users home directory as well in configure.log, this will help with blackmailing :-)
