[petsc-dev] petsc release soon

I was curious about this release because it was my impression that there is usually a new production release about once
a year - although I have not really compiled a history of petsc releases and have only been following and using petsc for
about a year.  So I was not expecting another release until the August/September timeframe.  Does petsc have a formal
release schedule or do you do production releases when you feel like significant new capabilities have been added?  What
is the target date for this release?

    We need to make a petsc release very soon so please check the nightly builds and let the appropriate people know of problems.
