That is one way. The problem is that new users just see a bunch of numbers.
The smaller numbered examples aren't necessarily simpler and the fact that
a given example is not a recommended way to do something only shows up
haphazardly in comments.

There should be some place people can go to learn about "good" examples of
various difficulties (e.g. SNES ex5, ex50, ex28, ex48; TS ex9.c, ex22.c,
ex26.c).
