[petsc-dev] fortran modules and datatypes

I knew about the later, not the former. Can one still use fortran modules (option 3 in UsingFortran) if PETSC_USE_FORTRAN_INTERFACES is set?

If so, the changes to the examples are much smaller that I thought and the following should suffice
