OK, understood, not a big issue for us anyway. We are fortunate in
having a lot of pkgsrc expertise here within ECS (not me I hasten
to add!) so we'll just continue on. I was just looking to avoid
going through the same loops as someone else.

We already have a software stack that gets the target package going,
and that was pretty bog-standard, albeit upon a Red Hat-OSed box, so
I am merely looking to replicate the stack upon our NetBSD platform.
It'll pretty much be thus be a case of: configure; make; make install
(but in a NetBSD/pkgsrc context - ha ,ha), so I was just touting for
any NetBSD/pkgsrc experiences.
I guess once the researchers here have a working system, they'll be
the ones driving improvements to the build, and/or indeed, the software.
