Contents of library archives

Hi PETSc team,

 

I would like to know the contents of each library archive (.a file) of PETSc library.

It looks some of them are self-explanatory such as libpetscmat.a, but I am wondering other archives such as

libpetsccontrib.a. Could you explain what each of them contains?
