Shared library version of pnetcdf

You know, I believe I don't have shared pnetcdf libraries either!
So I will echo Wadud's question: how do I build a pnetcdf shared library.
BTW if you pnetcdf guys want some help, I have just written the autotools
files for the PIO library, and previously the netCDF library. I would be
happy to help get you guys on libtools.
