Are you using the visnek script to generate
the requisite meta-date in the *.nek5000 file ?

I have tried both *.fld## and *.f## formats with visit 2.7.0 and visit refuses to open them. I posted about this on visit forum but I have not received any response yet. I am using visit mac binary from visit website.

Has anybody had success with 2.7 ?
