Thanks. By typing in the X-window as you suggested I have managed to start using Prenek to create some geometries, mesh, create curved sides etc. etc. Basically I'm trying out the various options there are and getting used to them. 


One problem is that in the X-window, the text of the menu items does not appear. I.e. I only see grey boxes and must click on the correct box by clicking on the 3rd box if for example I need the 3rd menu item. Also, is it also normal that the X-window does not size well into the screen and some of it is outside the screen? 


Note: The error messages ' 'I/O Error: No String Terminator sent to PRS' still appear.
