Hi Rich,

It sounds like the data is pretty small.  Can you send sqduct0.f00001 and 
your .nek5000 file to hchilds at lbl.gov so I can take a look?

Hi Rich,

In principle, this happens automatically.

Can you please do the following:

head -1 blah | strings | head -1

where "blah" is the name of your first field file ?

There should be an "X" in the header indicating that this
has the geometry --- if not, I'd like to know about it so
that we can fix whatever went wrong.
