Dear Stefan and Paul,

Thank you for your replies.

The code compiles nicely and the same case runs when I compile with PGI 
(for some reason that wasn't the case with the older Nek version I used 
before; it compiled but gave segmentation faults before creating any 
other output). Cray people told me however that I should use crayftn for 
better performance, at least for large cases. Any thoughts?
