Rob,
It is certainly possible to add Windows support for PVFS on MPICH2. However I don't have any spare dev cycles at this time :( (MPICH2 discuss mails + MPICH2 builds + MPICH2 minor code changes + ParVIS development takes up most of my time)
A good Windows developer should be able to add the support without breaking MPICH2.

The ROMIO/MPI-IO support on the MPICH2 build is passable but NTFS is
not a parallel file system. Apparently there is PVFS support available
for windows now.
How hard would it be to build PVFS support into the windows MPICH2
builds? Will it break horribly unless the PVFS dlls are around?
Maybe the omnibond guys have already done this -- i presume they will
want a parallel program to test their parallel file system?
