Hi,
For setting up MPICH2 on a cluster, install MPICH2 on all the nodes and
use mpiexec (with the "-machinefile" option) to launch your MPI job. You
can find details on the various options available with mpiexec in the
windows developer's guide (available at
http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2/documentation/index.php?s=
docs).
Make sure that you have firewall turned off (or see "Runtime environment"
--> "Firewalls" section to configure the windows firewall for MPICH2) on
all the nodes
Let us know if you need any further assistance.

(PS: The mailing list for discussions is mpich-discuss)

Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich2-dev] running MPICH as a cluster on Windows

Greetings All!

I am taking a class in parallel computing class this summer at UHD. Does
anyone have instructions for running the Windows version of MPICH as a
cluster? The install instructions seem to install an emulation of a
cluster.
