I get this error when following 9.4 on the guide 

Tried running msiexec /I mpich2-1.5.msi I ran that in command prompt and it came back with this installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package.

Anyone have any ideas don't have much experience with MPICH

Hi,
 Uninstall the existing version of MPICH2 installed in your system and follow instructions in Section 9.4 (NOT 9.1) of the MPICH2 installer's guide (http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2/documentation/index.php?s=docs).
 Try running the sample program, cpi.exe (c:\Program Files\MPICH2\examples\cpi.exe), to see if MPICH2 works.
 Let us know the results.

Having issues getting FDS to work with MPICH doesn’t seem to want to run the model and can’t understand the installer for MPICH, a bit of background of what the machine is we are trying to run a model on two machines on FDS the machines are on Windows 7 64 bit,
