Sirs: re your message number four: What mpiexec command should I use?
Assigning 8 processes to the i7 core does start all 8 but cpi.exe gives
mpi_comm_world error. richard

If your communication pattern is known in advance and this regular, why are
you using one-sided? It seems you could use send-recv here quite easily.
Background progress is usually available on supercomputers so if that's your
long-term target, then MPI_Get is a reasonable design choice.

Hi. I'm sorry if I'm asking too many times. :)
I'm getting problem when trying to executes a program in 2 windows
machines. I've following the rules below :
1. The both machines have the same username and password.
2. Both machines have the same version of mpich2, 1.4.1p1
3. The ping works fine (the ip numbers : 10.222.233.223 and 10.222.233.189)
4. no firewalls in both machines.
5. The registering and validating process is successful.
6. from 10.222.233.223

config.log shows that the test went through OK but hung afterward.
Could you try 1.4.1p1 ? and send us the configure output (c.txt
as stated in MPICH2's README) and config.log.
