[mpich-discuss] mpich2-1.4.1p1 - Installation

I am installing mpich2 for paralell procesing practice.

I took the following guide

In the page 5, you speak about of create a file named machinefile, wich
content is the list of hosts in the cluster.
This file must be created in any particular path? What is the location?

I was installed mpich2 in tres hosts (one master and two workers), building
the package file.

When i enter the instruction mpiexec -n 3 -f machinefile
/usr/local/mpich2-1.4.1p1/examples/cpi

where:


   - The machinefile file is located in /root/ in all hosts in the cluster.


   - -n 3 make reference to the number of hosts in the cluster. It's
   correct? or -n 3 make reference to the cores in each host?


The output of  mpiexec -n 3 -f machinefile
/usr/local/mpich2-1.4.1p1/examples/cpi is :

When i enter the instruction mpiexec -n 6 -f machinefile
/usr/local/mpich2-1.4.1p1/examples/cpi , the output is:

The system try setup connection through ssh with other hosts, but wait and
fail.
