Thanks for the reply.
These options are actually quite useful to us at runtime so hopefully they will be stable in the future. 
Intel actually refers to "smpd -get version" in its documentation of Intel MPI and that's how I found out about it.

 If it is not in the user docs (Windows developer's guide, Install guide, User guide) it was not meant to be used by the user. However it is safe to assume that whatever option is present in the code is not going to be removed (or changed) in the near future.

(PS: Look for smpd_set_smpd_data() in the code to find the available option names. You should be able to get some more values like the "port" etc)

I’ve had to go through the source code quickly to see what option names where available via “smpd –get” and could only find binary, version and phrase. 

Is this documented somewhere and are there any other options accessible?
