Hi,
MPICH2 currently does not support heterogeneous systems. So you cannot run your job across 32-bit and 64-bit systems.

Regards,
Jayesh

Hi
Thaks for your reply.
I try to run cpi.exe.
I use two computers. One is win7 64bit(ip:172.18.14.25), the other is win xp 32 bit(ip:172.18.14.13).
Firstly, I can't find both of them in the domain as workgroup ,though I set both of them in workgroup.( May be the bug between win7 and winxp?)
on the win7 host I using the mpiexec from the command line :( mpiexec -hosts 1 172.18.14.25 c:\Progra~1\MPICH2\examples\cpi.exe or mpiexec -hosts 1 172.18.14.25 c:\Progra~1\MPICH2\examples\cpi.exe) it works. but ( mpiexec -hosts 2 172.18.14.25 172.18.14.13 c:\Progra~1\MPICH2\examples\cpi.exe) it does't work.
running on the win xp is the same as on win7.
I also use two laptops to test. one is win7 64bit the other is win7 32bit. It doesn't work ,either.
