[mpich-discuss] mpich from the MCS Ubuntu linux build

This was sufficient to get my application working:
export OMP_STACKSIZE=2M

except I thought that this was the default value

If the problem is the OpenMP stack, which seems to be the only
credible candidate besides witchcraft, then installing a new version
of MPICH2 will not help.
