Hi,
If you are not too concerned about performance, you can compile MPICH2 on Cygwin and use it (The default process manager would be Hydra - not SMPD).
If you need it to run on Windows, SMPD is the supported (only) process manager.
Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich-discuss] Simplest way to run mpiexec
I am new to mpich2. Looking for a solution that works with
mingw32-gfortran.
Is there a way to run an mpi program with just one line, like
mpiexec -np 2 myprog.exe
?
Or is it required that one go through registration and use smpd.exe?
Thx.....John Cary
