[mpich-discuss] Error in running basic mpi examples with mpich2

Hi,

I am trying to setup mpich2 and have been following the installation guide.

After the setup, while running cpi from the examples, I hit the following
error.

Is there something wrong with the setup? Do I need to use mpd as the process
manager. Guess hydra is default.
All the steps in the quickstart section of the installation guide till step
11 worked fine.
