Understood. Sorry if it sounded as if I assumed you don't know your
KILL from your kill; it was a "just in case" thing. Many people seem
to have read somewhere that "kill -9 beats anything else" and thus use
it systematically. Saw the "killed by signal 9" in your err and
thought, oh well, can't hurt to remind.
