Hi Jayesh,
Thanks for the prompt reply. In fact I have now solved the problem.
I did not realise the password had to be the logon password for the
user: normally one is only asked to repeat a password when inventing
one. I was using an account with no password, so I invented one for
MPI. I have now created a password for the user and registered it and
all is well.
