[mpich-discuss] Error while connecting to host

HI Jayesh,

My window system is a dual processor and hence I am trying to run MPI on both the processor.

I did it successfully few months back. Now it is causing the problem... I have not changed the system configuration till then.. so I confused with what is wrong with this now..

I have used following command to run;

mpiexec    -hosts 1 localhost 1 -noprompt myprog.exe
c:\worker  -hosts 1 localhost 1 -noprompt myprog.exe

1st line command is to execute on a manger node
2nd line command is to execute on a worker node

saved both the commands in a text file then read it.

Hi,
 What do you mean by a single system with two nodes ? Is it a Windows cluster with two nodes ? How are you running your program (Copy-paste the mpiexec command and the output in your next email)?

Firewall disabled… but still the problem is same..

Seems that problem with firewall / SELinux...





Try using


Firewall - Disabled...


SELinux - Disabled...
