[mpich-discuss] mpd path

Moving this to a different email thread.
MPD is no longer needed. The mpd you are seeing in your path seems to
be from a different older installation of MPICH2, which can be ignored.
With the new versions of MPICH2, you can directly use mpiexec without
having to launch MPD. Usage instructions are provided here:
