[mpich-discuss] a question about process-core binding

I'm confused here. Your hostfile is requesting for the first 24 
processes to be launched on the first node, the next 24 on the second 
node, and so on. So, Hydra is doing exactly what I'd expect it to. If 
you want to override the number of processes to launch on each node, you 
can use the -ppn option:

% mpiexec -ppn 1 -f hostfile ./foo
