[mpich-discuss] MPI-IO flow of call

I want to understand the flow of IO stack for MPI-IO calls,
Is there any tool for it, to trace this call?
How can I do it?
I have o.s. Ubuntu, using mpich2-1.3.2p1 of MPI.
Can any one help me?
