Hi,
 Did you install x64 (64-bit) version of MPICH2 ? Which version of MPICH2 are you using ? Is your application 64-bit ?
 Can you run a non-MPI program (mpiexec -n 2 hostname)?
 Can you compile/run a simple MPI hello world program (https://svn.mcs.anl.gov/repos/mpi/mpich2/trunk/examples/hellow.c)?

(PS: When copying the error message it is helpful to copy-paste the command and the entire command output.)

Hi 



I’m meeting some problems to run my code (Telemac) with MPICH2 on W7 64b 

This software runs for a long time with MPICH2 on XP without any problems. 

On W7, after a long search on internet, I finally install MPICH2 (successfully?). 

The first problem with the SMPD is solved. 

But now I have a new problem in the execution. 

I obtain a message “Unable to open the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\MPICH\SMPD\process\1164 registry key, error 5, access denied”. 

But I also obtain a message box that indicates me “Impossible to start the program because fmpich2.dll is missing on your computer. Try to re-install the program to solve the problem” 

I check my computer and fmpich2.dll exists in c:\windows\system32. 



Anyone has an idea?
