Hi,
If you terminate the job using Ctrl-C, the process manager should kill all the processes (including ones launched on a remote node) belonging to the job. Are you having any issues with the process manager cleaning up the processes belonging to the job ?

Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich-discuss] Windows SMPD Question

To Whomever Can Answer,

Here in our windows lab we have a cluster of 26 windows machines running 64bit Win7. The SMPD is running as a service on all the machines. Students are non administrative users that can execute programs written in Visual Studio on the cluster. But the problem we are having is if one of the processes gets hung on a remote machine, what is the best way to terminate it on the ring machines. They are using the command line mpiexec program to kickoff the programs…

Any help would be greatly appreciated. If you need more details let me know.

Thanks,
