[mpich-discuss] Conflict between MPICH2 and Microsoft SQL server

  Hi Jayesh,

It is a problem with our collaborators system and this seems to have
fixed the issue by removing SQL server, unfortunately, I don't have
direct access to their system. I was asking in the first instance if
this was a known issue and I guess from your response it isn't. If this
hasn't been seen before then I'll need to investigate further myself and
it could well turn out to be unrelated to MPICH2. It was MPICH2 1.2.1p1
and it was to do with loading a particular file which seems to take a
huge amount of time to load when SQL server is running. I will let you
know if there are any pertinent developments on this front.

Thanks for your quick response,
