[mpich-discuss] Urgent help needed for Mpich2 installation

Please keep mpich-discuss cc'ed.

Which version of MPICH2 are you using? mpich2version should give you 
that information. The latest version of MPICH2 (1.3.1) doesn't require MPD.

Also, what Linux distribution is this?
