[mpich-discuss] mpi problem with "mpd &"

Hi, all,

I currently have installed mpich2.1.1 on our Ubuntu and Redhat machine. It works well on the Redhat, but on Ubuntu after I finished installation and tested
mpd &
mpdtrace
mpdallexit

It returns a hostname of "Alarm clock" instead of our true hostname "yukon". So I have no idea what was going wrong. Could someone help me with this issue? I checked the README file under /mpich2-1.1/src/pm/mpd/README but still have no clues.
