Hi,
 You can download and install MPICH2 on windows using the windows installers available at http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2/downloads/index.php?s=downloads (Use the installer for EM64T/AMD64).
 Since you need administrator privileges to install MPICH2, on windows 7 follow the steps below to install MPICH2.

1) Download the windows installer for MPICH2
2) Right-click on the command prompt icon and select "Run as administrator" (This gives you a command prompt with admin privileges)
3) Install MPICH2 using the msiexec command line utility from the admin command prompt (msiexec /i mpich2-1.2.1p1-win-x86-64.msi)

I am a beginner at parallel programming and wish to implement parallel algorithms (i'll be dealing with " embarrassingly parallel " algorithms) on a core2duo based computer . I am using windows 7 64 bit on it along with bloodshed c++ . How to install and use mpi on this platform . Thanks in advance.
