Ann,
Thanks for the detailed report.
MPD is not tested with different user names on different hosts. So, I'm
not sure if it'll work correctly in that case.
Can you try mpiexec.hydra instead? That's not tested for that case
either, but I think it might work. Hydra usage instructions are
available here:
