I built MPICH2 trunk - svn updated today - like this:

./configure CC=gcc-4.5 CXX=g++-4.5 F77=gfortran-4.5 FC=gfortran-4.5
--prefix=/software/mpich/mpich2-trunk-gnu45-build
--with-thread-package=pthreads --enable-threads=default --enable-f77
--enable-smpcoll --enable-mpe --with-pm=hydra

Everything builds fine but when I 'make' in ./test, I get this:

make[1]: Entering directory `/software/mpich/mpich2-trunk/test/mpid'
make[2]: Entering directory `/software/mpich/mpich2-trunk/test/mpid/ch3'
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `../../../lib/lib.a', needed by
`reorder'.  Stop.
make[2]: Leaving directory `/software/mpich/mpich2-trunk/test/mpid/ch3'
make[1]: *** [all-redirect] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/software/mpich/mpich2-trunk/test/mpid'
make: *** [all-redirect] Error 2

I do not believe this error is of any consequence, but since you guys
strive for impeccable software quality, I figure you'd want to know
about this.
