[mpich-discuss] Installation query

Can you please tell me whether all the computers in a cluster need to be
installed with MPICH2 for running parallel programs or installing MPICH2
over a NFS shared folder is fine ?
e.g.
We have a 8 node cluster and /home is shared over NFS so running
'mpich2version' on all nodes gives

MPICH2 Release date:    Unknown, built on Fri Nov 12 15:14:21 IST 2010
MPICH2 Device:          ch3:nemesis
MPICH2 configure:       --prefix=/home1/pfs/usr
