[mpich-discuss] Error with mpdboot

Hi Pavan,

I started finding new error with mpdboot. Following is that.

mpiub at mlscubl12-desktop:~$ mpdboot -n 2 -f mpd.hosts 
mpdboot_mlscubl12-desktop (handle_mpd_output 415): failed to connect to mpd on mlscubl3-desktop

mpd & is working fine.

It seems /etc/hosts is fine. Following is cat of that

mpiub at mlscubl12-desktop:~$ cat /etc/hosts
127.0.0.1	localhost
172.16.17.28	mlscubl12-desktop
172.16.17.33    mlscubl3-desktop
# The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts
::1     localhost ip6-localhost ip6-loopback
fe00::0 ip6-localnet
ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix
ff02::1 ip6-allnodes
ff02::2 ip6-allrouters
ff02::3 ip6-allhosts

Can you plase tell what might have gone wrong?
