Hi,
 MPICH1 is old (several years old...) please try to use the latest stable
release of MPICH2 (available at
http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpich2/downloads/index.php?s=down
loads) and let us know if you still have problems.

I have followed the instructions located on at
http://www.mcs.anl.gov/research/projects/mpi/mpich1/mpich-nt/.

I am using MPI with mcnp5 on a intel quad core 2 machine.  I am attempting
to run solely on my machine at the moment.  I know this is not the best
method, but I already know that it works on the other machines on the
network as they have been used together to run mcnp5 in the past.  When I
try to run on my machine with the following command:

mpirun -np 5 c:\progra~l\lanl\mcnp5\bin\mcnp5_mpi i=inputfile BALANCE

I get the following error  "error2. CreateProcess failed: The system
cannot find the file specified."

It also reports that mpich2mpi.dll cannot be found.  I have tried
reinstalling, as suggested at https://svn.enthought.com/epd/ticket/573

But that has not seemed to fix the problem.
