[mpich-discuss] mpi network configration

The MPD process manager uses a ring topology for process-manager related
commands. MPI processes, however, communicate directly with each other
during MPI communication. They don't go through MPD. You can create virtual
process topologies (graph and cartesian) using the MPI functions for that.

 Dear all,

I have a question...

What are the network topology of the mpd is it ring or tree or what ?

also when node wants to send data to another nodes is it direct
communication or through a ring ?

Also If I want to create a tree or full graphed topology communication can
this be done by the communicator?

Thanks Alot.

Regards,

Hisham
