Hi Gus,

I forgot to tell you to run "./maint/updatefiles" in order to  
regenerate the configure from the configure.in.  You'll need perl and  
autoconf-2.62 or later to go that route though.  Sorry about the mix-up.

If you prefer, you can use the tarball I've created here [1] that  
already has the patch and has an already-regenerated configure script.
