[mpich-discuss] MPD Startup error

This typically represents a network configuration problem. You can use
the mpdcheck utility to see if it can find any problems with the network.

Alternatively, you can use the Hydra process manager (mpiexec.hydra
instead of mpiexec), in which case you don't need to start mpd at all.
