[mpich-discuss] Waitall and Finalize competition

I am looking at a potential issue regarding a Waitall operation when 
Finalize is called on the pair. The Waitall call stalls because all 
vc->ch.send_active members are set to NULL. This happens on an older 
version of MPICH2. Is it possible that remote Finalize influences the 
local Waitall? Should Waitall return an error code? On a broader 
perspective, can I get a hyperlink to the architectural decisions made 
for MPICH2 protocol?
