[mpich-discuss] Problem building cluster using MPICH2

Hello,

 

I am building cluster using MPICH2.

While connecting to the host demon I am getting following error:

 

Command:

$mpd -h host1 -p 33431

 

Error:

"failed to enter ring".

 

Could you guide me for overcoming this error?

 

I am using 2 Fedora core machines connected with cross cable.

Other socket programming applications are successfully connecting in
these 2 machines.
