[MPICH] mpigdb slow response

Hi,
 
     A response of mpigdb is very slowly with individual process.  If I send a command to all processes (z), then the response from mpigdb is very quick.  If I switch to one process (z 0) and send a command for this process only, the response is very slowly.  Any idea to prevent this?
