A user requires (also should require) permission to launch MPI processes
(in the context of a user).

How did you verify the CPU usage of your MPI pgm?

Try "-localroot" option (of mpiexec) when launching your MPI program

Hi,...
It is working,... under some conditions :-) The origin of the confusion it
is the README.winbin.rtf found in the C:\Program Files\MPICH2 directory. The
procedure indicated perhaps is usefull for a windows working under a DOMAIN,
but is useless if no DOMAIn exist.
I discover,
- If they several machines windows, only ones without register DOMAIN are
able to "see" the others.
- I need to install MPICH2 from the distribution msi in all machines.
Questions,
- It is not clear what is the purpouse of the password asked in each
installation (I used always the same)
- The use of the user/password introduced under mpiexec -register
In this moment I am working under a windows XP dual-core.
I am able only to launch cpi.exe, found under C:\Program Files\MPICH\bin\,
but I think only one CPU are used. Not both.
No succes with any other program built under cygwin.
