Hi,
You can use the "-ifhn" option in the machinefile for specify the interface
to be used for MPI communication.
Let us know if it works for you.

(Note: In the machinefile specify, HOSTNAME:<NUM_OF_PROCS> -ifhn
<INTERFACE_IP_ADDR>. Now launch your MPI job with mpiexec using the
"-machinefile" option)

Regards,
Jayesh

Subject: [mpich-discuss] Multi-homed system

Hello,

I have an application running on 5 computers under Windows Xp, they all
belong to two distinct networks. One local (A) with only these computers,
and the other one for file sharing (B) with other pcs. It doesn't matter if
I specify the local ip (A) on the mpiexec -host argument the data exchange
always happens on network B. In the user's guide it says to use the
argument --ifhn=<ip address> on the mpd. Does the smpd service accept this
argument? Just configuring smpd with this argument in all computers enough
to be able to run on network A?

Thanks,
Sorry about the english,
Denis
