 Hi,
  Please refer to the windows developer's guide for information on how to
run MPI applications on windows (it is available at
http://www-unix.mcs.anl.gov/mpi/mpich/)
  The process manager (SMPD) should be running on the machines prior to
launching your MPI application. You can specify a timeout for mpiexec
command using the "-timeout" option.

1 How do i use mpiexec to lauch smpd on the remote hosts to obtain the
information?
2 How do i use mpiexec to specify a timeout so that i can identify hosts
where smpd is not installed?
