Hi,
mpich2mpi.dll is the wrapper DLL for MPICH2 on windows. The dll allows a
user to choose a channel at the launch time (mpiexec ... -channel option),
it also allows one to load the profiled versions (mpiexec... -log option) of
the libs at launch time.
You can look into the "mpi" project for more details.
Let us know if you need more info.

Regards,
Jayesh

They both contain all MPI_* functions, however it seems that MPI
applications are linked with mpich2mpi.dll only? What is mpich2.dll for?

Best

Andrew
