[MPICH] MPI 2 - install, mpdtrace problem

Running mpd as root is a pretty special case that the manual  
recommends against using
until you have it functioning properly as a regular user.  Once you  
have that going, then
installing as root for multiple users can be done separately as per  
the manual.
